Iontophoresis is a technique for introducing serums into the skin by mild electric current. Ions convey the electrical current as they enter the skin. The delivered dose depends on the current flow and its duration.
Iontophoresis represents a means of enhancing the flux of ionic compounds across a membrane, by the application of an electric current across it.

What do treatments feel like?
